9:45-Large Circle
All children meet in a large circle in their classroom for songs, daily jobs, letter & numbers of the week and to do the calendar.
Wash Up & Snack Time
Outside Playtime
(Inside if it is too cold or rainy)
Project Time
Children work in small groups with classmates who are the same age.
Art
To enhance fine motor skills, creativity, and give children a time to express themselves artistically. Completing a project gives the child a sense of accomplishment.
Math/Science
Very basic counting, sorting, cooking, grouping, and learning about animals and nature —all through activity and play.
Language
Projects include listening to stories, playing word games, learning the alphabet, creating books.
Music
On alternating Tuesdays & Wednesdays, a music teacher will visit each class for a 30 minute music class. During this time students will have the opportunity to learn new songs, dance and play instruments.
